Tis the season for holiday related blogs, but you know what?  this gymnastics thing is just too much fun.  I relaized how many gym pictures i had on the camera and figured it needed to be discussed.  naia is having so much fun on wednesday mornings with the coach and her teammates... i think we're going to have to keep it up.  (of course she is talking about wanting to go to swimming class again, dillemas, dillemas...). So feast your eyes on "the nais" and her leaotard-tight ensembles i excitedly put together!

We're on vacation.  its Thanksgiving morning and i'm in a dark, cozy, hotel room.  not a creature is stirring, not even a naia.  We are having such a great time and havent really slowed down. we're filling up memory cards with our adventures and i can't wait to look at them when we get home.  but before i go through all of those, i need to post some pictures of naia's birthday, party, halloween, etc. She had a great time, got too many fabulous things, and saw so many wonderful family and friends.  it's been a non stop party.  here are some highlights... (LOTS of highlights)

I think that just about catches us up. right in time too, cause the smallest of the creatures is stirring.  I hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving.  We're feeling very full of thanks ourselves!

First Day of Gymnastics

We had so much fun today.  I think its the beginning of an era, though i WILL NOT PUSH.... i can cross my fingers =).  She was cautious and shy at first (new kids, new apparatus, LOTS of big colorful "toys") but warmed up to the idea, and was soon doing rolls, walking the beam and swinging on the bar with help.  She loves it so much, she even put her leotard back on tonight just for fun.
i love it so much that i intend on taking better pictures soon, when the coach is ready for "that kind of mom"...  which i happily am =)

tomorrow is naia's last day as a one year old. tune in, i'm working on something =)

I definitely have a paper to write and am procrastinating.  But is it really a waste of time when you end up with something as fabulous as this?

from aug to oct, and nothing in between

So, i know i keep saying i'm busy, but let me just show you all something.  the above picture was taken at Water Country.  For my 30th (thats right) birthday, i was BLESSED with a fun filled day at a water park.  it was spectacular.  thank you again to everyone involved.  but then, i put the camera down.  I didn't pick it back up til the other day.  over a month later.  I am proud of the photo library i've stockpiled of naia, as you may have figured...  but it didn't get that way from taking month-and-a-half breaks. So imagine my surprise when i uploaded these pictures and realized that september of 2010 has not been documented!!  (well, you know, i'm actually only talking about the point and shoot camera, with the little video recorder, but STILL!!)  So, while Naia's photographer mother was busy writing papers and reading everything imaginable on health policy, we only have a few fall photos (yet to be uploaded from the big cameras) and i'm NOT proud of that.I've gotten it together in the last couple days...
